Juices
Sep 11 2008, 12:08 PM EDT
I notice that a lot of recipes include juice. Why?If you add the whole fruit, in a good blender, you get the fiber and other micronutrients that are filtered out by juicers, and premade juices are loaded with sugar. In fact, my doctor has me drink orange juice if my blood sugar drops, instead of using any of the candy type remedies. Bottled or concentrated juices are concentrated sources of sucrose. Do you find this valuable?
