Wow! 6 lbs!!! That's amazing! Does anybody know if that's a typical result? If you find other great recipes or tips, it'd be great if you could share them on the site as well! :)

I feel great! I am having a skin thing happening but that is ok...it will go away. I need to get off of coffee. I still have 1 maybe 2 cups every morning. I seem to need that kick in the morning. I will get there. There has been a couple of oops but for the most part I have stayed true...probably 99% overall...most days 100%.Thank you for thinking of me, Cathy www.family4torah.wetpaint.com 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Oh, are you breaking out? If so, it's prob. due to the coffee, see when you go raw the first 2 weeks your body tries it's very best to detox it's self, but when you are drinking all of that acidic coffee, the body is confussed- coffee has a PH of 4, that's VERY HIGH on the food chart, lol, so the unused acid is prob. going out through your skin. :) Don't worry you will be able to beat the habit. We are here for you- Hey, how many kiddos do you have 4? Thats a nice sized family, I have 5 children. You can do this, it is a bit tough, but oh so worth it!!!

My skin is like drying....I think it is rejuvenating! I also had stopped using apple cider vinegar on my face...got lazy and lack of time...now that I am using it again things are better. I am hoping to get the coffee thing whipped. I love hot tea also...red tea. I will do it!I have 7 children. Hope to have more...we will see....my body is not healthy right now and my cycles are off. I am hoping as my body heals my cycles will come back. You look too young to have 4 blessings! That is great! Is your whole family raw? Right now it is just me...but my daughter who is getting married in June is starting...and my 11 year old is also. Shalom, Cathy Do you find this valuable? |

Oh I see I totally understand. Okay there is a way that I do my tea as well, its not raw if boil it or pt it in boiling water b/c you are KILLING all of the enzymes. All you have to do, is boil your water, and (get a food temp. taker) and poor it in a cup, check the temp. until it gets to 110 or lower, and then add your tea bag, it will steep just fine, and there you go- raw tea! ;) Lots of people "sun" their tea, but with 5 kids I do not have time for that- LOL It's just me raw in the house as well. My husband Rey won't let me kids do it until they are 13 and then he will let them make that choice. My oldest daughter is 10, and she is counting down the years! I give them about 65% raw throughout the day. Rey thinks that htey need their "stapples" LOLOLOL!!! Do you find this valuable? |

Hello, everyone. I have been doing a raw diet but my nutritionist has me eating meat, poultry, and fish. At first I had headaches, but after a few days that went away. I lost twelve pounds in two weeks and I eat. A lot of people are afraid to eat the raw meat / fish/ poultry, but it has been good for my metabolic typing. I have lost a lot of inches and reduced a whole size in four weeks. I feel great and can actually see things better.

Well, I live in Chicago, so I see a nutritionist who advises me on what to eat. Metabolic typing can also be done on Dr. Mercola's website. I am a mixed type more so protein. I buy a lot of my produce and grass fed meat from Whole Foods. There is a farmer who drops off eggs and cream and has other services on Bellslunchbox.com. I know it sounds weird but I eat my meat raw and cut fresh with some not a lot of vegetables and an avocadoe. Good quality is what you strive for as fresh as you can have everything the better. I have lost a lot of inches.

Wow...What a delightful feeling you must be having. If I may ask, how are you preparing your fish? I prefer raw sushi and I have always eaten my steaks medium rare, but I am sure this is not enough. So, how did you start? What does your diet consist of? I am dying to know.

K, how did you do it. Your story struck me cause it sounds just like me. I am in an intense school program right now, have no energy, living on coffee and not eating very well, I was visiting a friend tonight that is raw and has suggested that I look into doing this. But How do I start.

You start where you can...start simply....just make as many raw choices as you can. Don't beat yourself up for messing up....it will happen..just do it one step at a time. Don't feel that you have to go out and buy all kind of expensive equipment either...just one step at a time...one choice at a time! You can do that! Go to YouTube and search eating raw...there are some good things on there...Mercola's web site has some good things also.I hope that helps and encourages some...by the way I am still doing things one step at a time...with stumbles in the middle! I will get there but you can't change a lifetime of bad choices over night! Blessings, Cathy 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

" A lot of people are afraid to eat the raw meat / fish/ poultry, but it has been good for my metabolic typing. "You have to keep in mind, that true carnivores have stomach acids that are strong enough to dissolve bones, and they need them because they often eat the whole animal. Those acids kill all the bad things that are in raw meat so they don't hurt the carnivore. Humans don't have those stomach acids of a true carnivore, so please be carefull. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
