Got a question
Jan 29 2008, 10:05 AM EST | Post edited: Jan 29 2008, 10:05 AM EST
Does anyone know a raw eating body builder or sports person. My son is sick, I am encouraging him to go raw but he body builds and is afraid he will loose muscle mass. If I could point him to someone who eats raw and does body building this would be a great encouragement.
Thanks, Cathy

in the january/february 2008 issue of VegNews there are 6 pages about athletes who are vegan. It's called Plant Based Power. I don't recall if any of them are RAW, but one is a body builder named Robert Cheeke. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

He will not lose a lot of body mass if he continues to eat Omega 3s. Coconut Oil is great for such a reason. Have him drink young coconut smoothies- they are awesome, and have him take coconut oil 3 times a day while he eats raw. At lest while he's sick. Anyway Coconut oil has so many benifits, why not?
Tell him eating Raw just gets his body to where it was ment to be in the first place. ;)

He is 20. He is not quite ready for the raw thing...but I am working on him....he so desperately needs to detox.
Shalom,
Cathy

Ask him to do it just for 2 weeks. Tell him that all of the HOT cicks lov a guy that takes care of their bodies, and this is the newest rage, and it could be a real conversation starter! LOL 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Look at this website that I found....http://www.charliesgym.info/default.php It is a bodybuilder that is on a raw food diet. Maybe that will help him decide. Do you find this valuable?
